Climate X data to directly inform Embark clients on climate physical risk and support regulatory advisory work.
OCTOBER 1st, 2025 - Climate X, the climate risk analytics platform, has today announced a partnership with Embark, a leading financial and sustainability advisory firm with over 25 offices across the United States. Embark will integrate Climate X's platform into its advisory services to help clients understand and mitigate climate-related risks, particularly those impacted by California’s evolving regulatory landscape.
With increasing scrutiny on corporate sustainability performance and stringent regulations like California’s Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act and Climate-Related Financial Risk Act, businesses are seeking comprehensive solutions for assessing and managing their exposure to physical climate risks. Embark will leverage Climate X's data to inform client advisory services, risk assessments and climate-related reporting, to develop mitigation strategies that ensure they remain compliant and resilient.
“As highlighted by the increasing occurrences of natural disasters and the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape around the world, it’s clear that climate change is no longer a future threat; it’s impacting businesses today,” said Robby Sundberg, Sustainability Service Leader at Embark. “Integrating Climate X’s precise physical risk data into our advisory framework allows us to provide our clients with the actionable insights they need to navigate regulatory complexities, protect their assets, and build long-term value.”
"Our work with Embark demonstrates the critical role of high-resolution climate data in supporting robust ESG strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance," said Lukky Ahmed, CEO & Co-Founder at Climate X. “It is a pleasure to partner with a firm so clearly committed to helping businesses integrate ESG principles into their operations and tackle the current and future risks of climate uncertainty.”
The collaboration will initially focus on clients facing California’s climate regulations, with plans to expand to other markets experiencing heightened climate risk exposure.
